Position Summary:

A highly motivated person who will initiate outbound calls with potential customers regarding their IT needs and scheduling the customer for a sales consultation in a professional manner. These calls can be cold calling or generated Leads. You will work closely with Management to setup a Sales Playbook, sales

pitch and all additional materials needed to run this new position. Your job will be to drive new customer acquisition by utilizing persuasive sales techniques on outbound sales calls to qualified prospects and set appointments for closing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as initial point of contact for potential customers via phone, messaging and email
  • Review information provided by customer to confirm accuracy, determine availability for sales consultation
  • Document and update customer interaction within customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Consistently update checklists, sales goals, Leads etc.
  • Promote and ‘sell’ our Company by emphasizing our services and inquiring as to the potential customer’s IT needs

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in appointment setting or sales role is required
  • Excellent communication skills and professional telephone demeanor
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and build a rapport with potential clients.
  • A ‘peoples’ person with a sense of humor, confidence and a positive attitude
  • Ability to study and learn about our Company then apply active listening skills and respond with correct and honest Sales pitch to set appointments
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
  • Self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for performance and decisions.
  • Successfully completing sales training which includes product knowledge, salesmanship and other Company software systems
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
